staring at the barrel of a loaded gun just waiting for the end to come.

face to face with the enemy, cornered inside myself and the flashbacks begin again.

my cries ricochet off these four concrete walls, escaping to nowhere.

let me hear you speak, just for a second.

let me hear you scream, just for a minute.

let me hear you cry, just for a while.

breathing in the poisoned city air,  choking on your foul words will it be the last i hear?

bleeding out the truth from deep inside my heart and im not the least BIT surprised.

growing shadows trap me all alone, the fading light blinding me.

let me hear you surrender, just for a second.

let me hear you plead, just for a minute.

let me hear you suffer, just for a while.
