Hello to everyone on here who knows me and who doesn't
Nothing much has changed in my conditon of my back- same shit different day and …
Hello I am new to this site and hope everyone is coping as best as they can with chronic back and neck pain....It is silent and no one can see it-but you have to smile and get on with it... I have been diagnosed with a lumbar spondylolsis and have it over 8 years now....I have been told its genetic but i maintain it was my occupation as a car auto body restorer/and auto tech+ working long hours caused it to fracture.. Anyhoo i was also a personal trainer in LA /CA for a few years before the condition progressed and now i am back living in Ireland.... I have spent thousands on alternative treatments from chiro-accupuncture-osteopath-faith healers- orthopedics and was nearly going to go under the knife...it isnt gna cure the pain- i might have to deal with FBSS I use an inversion table daily-would recommend anyone with back or neck problems to get one of these..this is my saviour I use a TENS machine.. I get deep tissue massage once a week( twice if i can afford it) I also have been getting ultrasound carried out and find it helps- going to try and purchase a machine and get a famiy member to do it on me.. I researched accupressure and bought a book- to try and help with pain management....i am now on durogesic patches due to pain.... Hot baths and ice packs- stretching as much as possible even though it is boring-it has to be done.. My faithful dog takes my mind off the pain... crystal therapy-and meditation groups...guided imagery going to the beach and the outdoors and try and keep positive as best you can- i am only starting to learn to ask for help to lift things now that i cant lift due to pride and being a young man- just keep going as best you can- and try and focus on the things you can do and not the things you cant.. i have my days where i am down but i try my best to be independant as i can.. I just want to say hi to everyone out there and keep going no matter what
