Close Shingles
Had shingles starting in Late January of 2008. Went through so many drugs and was in such a daze for so many months that I hardly remember many of the drugs. I presently on 60 Mg of Hydrocodone and 1800 Mg of neurontin. This helps most of the time buy can tell when it is wearing off an hour before the pain hits. Since it is in my face am not able to take many things such as patches and capsaicin as it ends up in my eyes and makes it all worse. I also find that lanacane anti-itch cream helps.
Treatments
- Zostrix Working / Worked
- Can not use as PHN in my face and it always ends up in my eyes.
- Nerve Blocks Not Working
- Had 4 sets of nerve blocks in all three of the nerves on left side of my face with no apparant help
