About Me
I am retired from a major retail department store. I work part time in a Christian book store. I love my job! I meet all kind of interesting people that are involved in Church and mission work. My husband and i are active in our local Church.I teach sunday school, he is coordinater of the sunday ushers and greeters.We have been married for 34 years and both struggle with health issues: High blood pressure, anxiety, (these are mine)my hubby has diabetes, high blood pressure, gout, thrombocytophetia, nerve damage in his legs.With God's help we continue to battle these problems on a daily basis. We have one son and a grandaughter, who we don't get to see nearly enough. We continue to pray about that. We also have our little "simon" a white toy poodle.

Interests
I like to bake and cook, and share recipes with friends and family. I love to read, especially christian living books and autobiographies of famous people. I enjoy studying the Bible and watching christian tv programs. I also like to watch documentaries and reality shows on TLC about families.

Close High Blood Pressure
I was diagnosed with hbp 2 years ago, i am on 3 labetalol and 2 altace when i go to the doctors office my bp is always very high(at home it is low) they say that is called "white coat" hbp. Does anyone have any advise on what to do about this?

My son is an only child, he was my whole life. He got married at 32 and I hardly ever see him. I miss him so much.

Was told i have "borderline" high cholesterol.

Open Thrombocytopenic Purpura
My husband was diagnosed with ITP in March of 2005. He was treated with prednisone and intravenous medicine. he got better, and now in March of 2008 it has returned.
Open Pet Bereavement
lost my 14 year old poodle "Juju" on april 24th. we miss her so much.
