I am a a victim of chronic Pancreatitis. I have had 13 episodes in two years, 10 being hopitalized, and three being life threatning. I am an active member of Steadyhealth.com, and now this site. I do daily research on my condition and have found alot of answers and helpful advice. I am dying from a pancreatic disease that can't be diagnosed even by the experts at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Anschutz Medical campus in Aurora, Colorado. My attending MD is Dr. Raj Shah. He is one of the best. And I am one of the worst pancreatic cases he has seen. I enjoy talking with others whom have this disorder, and spending time researching.

J= great good step, put putting yourself,ogther and be able to focus on you and your health and that know up will be able to expereicne and do things than really make you happy. Remember you come first esp your health and this will allow you to fous on the goos and not the bad. I am sorry I didn't look at this until today (your journal entry). I need to look and see if I have your email address (or if you want to give it to me). I have been sober for 13 yrs (and am still in spite of the pain meds, that's all about motive). I sponsor about 6 guys and spek at institutions regularly. AA was my savior ad helped me to find a relationship with a God of my understanding. I am here for you and willing to talk anytime my friend. God bless and...REACH OUT! There are people who will help you but you have to ask and be willing to follow direction.
I am a 31 year old male who resides in Colorado, I am suffering from Chronic Pancreatitis, I have had this for seven years now the last three being the worst, I have had 13 attacks in a litttle over 2 1/2 yrs. I live on oxycontin and dilaudid and phenergan. I enjoy doing research on my illness as well as the drugs that are prescribed for these illnesses.
Dx with depression as a result of chronic pancreatitis, have had this for 10 years and depressed for the last three, due to hospital admits and length of stays.
An alcoholic for about 12 years, and it caused me medical problems specifically speaking pancreatitis, it is a very painful thing to have, I have now chronic pancreatitis, which basically means it never is going to go away.
