This past week has been pretty amazing. We had our 1st BETA on 10/31 and it was 189, 2nd BETA on 11/3 and it was 745 and 3rd BETA on 11/06 and it went up to 3,881. My progesterone has dropped from 20 to 17 so we are starting so more progesterone medicine today. We had our 1st U/s on 11/07 and saw the sack. We were exactly 5 weeks pregnant with our 1st u/s. I wasn't sure what to expect with this appointment so I wasn't too surprised when all I saw was the sac. We have another u/s appointment on Monday and the RE said that we should be able to hear the heartbeat and maybe be able to see the beginning signs of the legs and arms. I can't believe that you would be able to see that so soon! I have been feeling pretty good lately. The only symptoms that I have are sore bbs, a little bit of nausea and I get pretty tired easily. But I am thankful for what ever God gives me to have a healthy baby in 8 months!

Well we had our ER today at noon. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Just a lot of cramping! We had our last U/S on Wednesday and found out that we only have 7 follicles. We were thinking we would have a lot more but the RE said that with all the damage that I had down there that this was a normal amount. So when I was waking up the in the operating room my RE was in there and told me that they were only able to retrieve 1 egg. I just broke down crying. I was so upset and disappointed. RE told me that the other 6 follicles were cyst and he aspirated those as well. We will find out tomorrow if my egg took and when/if we do our ET on Monday or Wednesday. I know it only takes 1 egg but it is soooo... frustrating when you are expecting something else. My DH is trying to support me and give me as much hope as possible but it is just so hard!

I am so sorry that they couldnt get more eggs from the follies. I know they only got one, but it could be the one that makes a difference! I will be thinking about you. Stay positive, and keep us updated with how you are doing. Hugs!

Try to remain positive. I only had 5 or 6 follicles, 4 eggs were retrieved, 3 fertilized and all were transferred but guess what... only 1 took so there you go hon...as they ALL say, it takes only 1! I will be hoping/praying that you can transfer the 1 on Monday. Stay positive and strong. xoxo Lauri

We got a call yesterday morning at 7am from the RE and our egg fertilized!!!!! I am so shocked!!!! Of course I couldn't get back to sleep after that news...LOL!!! We are going in tomorrow for our ET at 8am!!!!

Sorry I haven't been on here lately but I was gone for the last week. I was out of town for my little sisters wedding. It was such a blast to see everyone! We came back on Sunday and went in for our baseline u/s on Monday. Somehow there was some miscommunication regarding my BCP. I had to start a new BCP in August (which I did) and when I went into for my appointment he kept asking me when I took my last pill and I told him it was Saturday. I was also explaining to him about AF since they have been very different since my surgery and was in a lot of pain this last cycle. Well what was not mentioned to me was that he wanted me to start another package of BCP and not take the last week of inactive pills. So now I was put back on BCP for 10 days and will start my stims on October 5th.

Glad to hear you had a great time at your little sisters wedding. There is something about weddings that always makes me smile. Sorry to hear about the delay in starting the stims. Looking forward to good news...

Glad that you had a good time at the wedding, and got to see your whole family. Dont worry about the 10 days, in the long run it wont make much difference. Our schedules are looking pretty similar, i am also scheduled to start stims October 6th, so I am right there with you. So welcome back, its good to hear from you, and lets get this cycle started!! ;) Hugs, Kathy

URG! That really sucks when the doctors don't explain things the way they should. It can certainly cause confusion. I wish you luck on your cycle. My brother just got married on 9/12 (little brother). We were suppose to have started our last IVF cycle but when i went for my saline sonogram my doctor discovered 3 polyps in my uterus so i know what it feels like for things to be post poned. Hopefully, the wait will be worth it for both of us. Good luck.

I am so happy that you are doing well and progressing nicely. I am about 5 weeks this week so we have 1st u/s on thu to look to see how many sacs there are. I hope that you get to see more at your next one. I also just have some sore boobs and get tired easily.. although today i had SO much energy i was scaring myself ;) This is SO amazing, to be pregnant. It hits me in waves, still.. I wish you good luck and a healthy pregnancy. We will have about the same due date so it would be nice to keep in touch. I just recently joined the pregnancy support group. Let me know how the next u/s goes. Hugs!
