      I was diagnosed with a PE on 7/19/08 after 3 months of increasing symptoms. I have large clots in all 4 quadrants yet I walked into the ER with little more than shortness of breath with too much work.

      Treatments

      Coumadin Too Soon to Tell
      Trying to get INR worked out. 10 gives me a 1.8 INR and 12.5 ends up at 4.2!
      Heparin Working / Worked
      Well enough to get me out of the hospital
      Lovenox Working / Worked
      This kept me safe at home once I was discharged and my INR wasn't up high enough.
