Just trying again to say hello ..how are you doing? If you get back on here, drop a line sometime if you want to. I hope things are okay with you as always.
I know things were not the best when last you were on, so I'm wondering how things have been for you in the new year? I don't imagine it's been easy at all, but I hope you come back and say hello, and let everyone know how you're doing.
sending you lots of HUGS for the new year. Cindy
All the best to you at Christmas. Dolly
May you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Cindy
My son was diagnoised with ADHD at the age of seven years. He had full support and was monitored carefully by a psychiatrist till he was sixteen. He then waited for a year until he was seventeen to see an adult psychiatrist. This person who had never met my son before within ten minutes said he didn't think my son had any traits of ADHD anymore and was discharged.
Hi, I'm a 44 year old woman with a supportive partner and two children. My daughter is 20 and my son is 18. In the last five years I have lost my father and my sister and in both circumstances watched them both die a awful death. Through all of this I have gone through terrible teenage years with my daughter and had a tough time all through my sons life has he as ADHD. I was diagnoised with depression a year ago and have had therapy and one lot of tablets which I didn't feel helped.
I have two children age 20 and 18. My 18 year old son was diagnoised with ADHD at the age of 7. When he got to 16 all previous support was taken away and he was asked to see an adutlt psychiatrist who told him he no longer had ADHD after meeting with him after ten minutes (he wants to live with him). Finding times hard.
Five years ago I lost my father who died after months of suffering. He had a form of dementia which came on very quickly. He went literally mad and we had to watch while he crawled round, became aggressive and didn't even know who we were. He then lost the ability to eat and eventually starved to death. The care my father recieved has left me with awful memories. Last year my sister at the age of 53 died of a brain haemorhage and suffered for two weeks, once again I sat and watched her die.
