I'm With You

Sounds a lot like what I am going through with all of this AND I also have the degenerative disc disease so maybe it really is the lower back that is causing some weird stuff to do with the cramping/tingling in our feet, etc.
I think I'll pass on the zap test you got since it will probably turn out normal like yours anyway! lol No need to have extra pain, right? Yikes!
I also have wondered if it has something to do with blood flow or circulation being cut off or compromised or something. Hmmm.... I probably need to get my rear in to the doc for a new check up. I took a break from dealing the meds and doctors the last several months but I probably need to just go in to check in.
Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend! -

Thanks for your input on the Fibro board :) I have both the cramps and tingling/numbness that you mentioned. Not sure if they are both from the Fibro but it seems they are somehow related. Hate to hear you have these symptoms too...but somewhat comforting to know I am not alone. Have a great day!

Twitching is normal with fibro patients. I twitch all over. Usually when I do to much or when I am tired. I was at the physical therapist one time lying on the table. my arm started twitching ( i didn't even feel it) the therapist freaked out and sent me directly to the doctor. I told her it was part of fibro and she said she never saw it that bad. I got a note from my doctor and went back in. there is so much that people don't know about this disease.. I had a sleep study done . They told me my muscles were moving over 144 times per minute. It was like I was running a marathon in my sleep. I've had it so long I guess I am used to it.

thanks for the post on brain findings. I had a MRI and a MRA the nerologist wouldn't believe how many spots were on my brain. She said that shows how much pain I am in. To bad more people can't get all these new test. Due to cost many doctors won't order it. If they would Fibro would definately called a chronic disease.

JUST TO HELP YOU SMILE TODAY:> > A teacher is explaining biology to her 4th grade students. "Human beings are the only animals that stutter," she says. A little girl raises her hand. "I had a kitty-cat who stuttered." The teacher, knowing how precious some of these stories could become, asked the girl to describe the incident. "Well," she began, "I was in the back yard with my kitty and the Rottweiler that lives next door got a running start and before we knew it, he jumped over the fence into our yard!" "That must've been scary," said the teacher. stuttering "It sure was," said the little girl. "My kitty raised her back, went Sssss, Sssss, Sssss' and before she could say 'Shit,' the Rottweiler ate her!" The teacher laughed so hard, she had to leave the room.

High Five
mrsz2 (03/21/09)
My doctor calls me Mrs Google. I go there and I have a list of questiond in hand. I was totally convinced that I have MS after watching Oprah and her discussions of people who have overcome there illnesses. I googled it. found the symptoms answered yes to about 98% of them. and went to the doctors (on my scheduled appointment date) talked to him and asked him to run speciefic blood tests. Well after a very little chuckle he explained the 2 symptoms I dont have. and those were the key factors for ms. the funny part is when I left his office he handed me a blood work rx for genetic testing. I told him I want just 1 day when i feel no type of pain. He asked me how long it has been when I said 14 years he was shocked. (remeber I just moved to Fl in Aug 08 so he's a new doctor.) Isnt it funny he wants the geneetic test done????? i would love to have Dr Oz go over my records.

I know whaat you're going through. Doctors need to be educated that Fibro is a real disease. Better treatments are needed.
