I am so sorry for your sudden loss. May you find peace.
I’m With You
Sounds a lot like what I am going through with all of this AND I also have the degenerative disc disease so maybe it really is the lower back that is causing some weird stuff to do with the cramping/tingling in our feet, etc.
I think I'll pass on the zap test you got since it will probably turn out normal like yours anyway! lol No need to have extra pain, right? Yikes!
I also have wondered if it has something to do with blood flow or circulation being cut off or compromised or something. Hmmm.... I probably need to get my rear in to the doc for a new check up. I took a break from dealing the meds and doctors the last several months but I probably need to just go in to check in.
Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend!

Thanks for your input on the Fibro board :) I have both the cramps and tingling/numbness that you mentioned. Not sure if they are both from the Fibro but it seems they are somehow related. Hate to hear you have these symptoms too...but somewhat comforting to know I am not alone. Have a great day!

Twitching is normal with fibro patients. I twitch all over. Usually when I do to much or when I am tired. I was at the physical therapist one time lying on the table. my arm started twitching ( i didn't even feel it) the therapist freaked out and sent me directly to the doctor. I told her it was part of fibro and she said she never saw it that bad. I got a note from my doctor and went back in. there is so much that people don't know about this disease.. I had a sleep study done . They told me my muscles were moving over 144 times per minute. It was like I was running a marathon in my sleep. I've had it so long I guess I am used to it.
Thumbs Up
thanks for the post on brain findings. I had a MRI and a MRA the nerologist wouldn't believe how many spots were on my brain. She said that shows how much pain I am in. To bad more people can't get all these new test. Due to cost many doctors won't order it. If they would Fibro would definately called a chronic disease.

Close Fibromyalgia
I have been experiencing various pains for years now. Most recently I started having skin problems (rashes, etc), headaches (random stabbing pains), stomachaches (IBS, like), random pin-sticking pains in my thighs and legs, and more. I have degenerative disc syndrome and thought some of that was to blame, but the more I look at all the symptoms, the more apparent it is FLS. Been to neurologist, ortopaedic doc, dermatologist, allergist, sleep med doc, etc. I hope this site will help me.

Close Bereavement
Type: Loss of a ParentI just lost my mom after a on again off again four year battle with cancer(s). She had breast cancer once in 2004, a separate case in 2006, and when we thought she was in the clear it reappeared the beginning of this year. In July the doctor stopped treatment and said she had six months to live. We went on to another treatment center. Before they could start their plan, the cancer overtook her liver. On 10/2, less than two months later (not six) she is gone.
