About Me
I have been married since November of 2006 to the most wonderful man! We had been TTC for a year and a half. We were very blessed to have our first round of IVF work!! We were labeled as unexplained infertility. I am a RN and work in a neonatal intensive care unit. Looking forward to meeting our little miracle in the weeks ahead!

- Acupuncture Somewhat Helpful
- This relaxed me but after going weekly for 8 months and not conceiving I stopped going. $$$$
- Basal Thermometer Not Working
- This is stupid and not very helpful!
- Clomid Not Working
- I did Clomid for 3 months had great levels each time "pregnancy high" they would tell me and I never conceived
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- We all should be taking this!
- Follistim Working / Worked
- I used this with Menopur my first IVF cycle S/E-fatigue,headaches,nausea and discomfort
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- This seemed to work! I was very bloated after using it though
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- I had this done in Feb. My tubes were fine. Very interesting and not very painful at all. Take Motrin before you go and you will be fine. :)
- In Vitro Fertilization Working / Worked
- A long 4 weeks but SO worth it! I did gain some weight during it though
- Lupron Working / Worked
- This seemed to work the night sweats suck!
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Working / Worked
- It worked in the fact I knew when I ovulated but it did not help me conceive
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- Seems to be working..weird how they don't check the levels though. I am in a study so I have a different form of the drug.
- Repronex Too Soon to Tell
- I used this with Follistim my first IVF cycle S/E-fatigue,headaches,nausea and discomfort
Close Pregnancy
After a year and a half of trying to conceive, many needle sticks, lab draws, ultrasounds, appts. later...We are pregnant!!!! We could not be more thrilled!!! The due date for our little miracle is April 19, 2009!
