Close Infertility
Currently defined as "unexplained". Ventured into acupuncture for about 8 months and even though we did not conceive, it really did help me be at peace with this process. We just finished our first IUI and unfortunately it did not result in a pregnancy. Going for round 2!
Treatments
- Acupuncture Somewhat Helpful
- Tried it for about 8 months and even though we didn't conceive, the benefits were endless!
- Artificial Insemination Not Working
- Had our first IUI, everything went very well with the exception of a BFN as the end result. Will go for round 2 this month!
- Basal Thermometer Working / Worked
- I learned SO much about myself and confirmed that indeed I did ovulate quite regularly every month.
- Clomid Working / Worked
- I developed 5 mature follices on 50mg.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Included in my pre-natal vitamins, assuming its doing the job!
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Not Working
- Administered the hCG shot during our first IUI. IUI turned out to be a BFN.
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- Everything was crystal clear!
