Yes Friends, I am still around!

I had a huge fundraisier last night that I was a co chair on.

We hosted 350 people, had over 300 Silent Auction Donations

and about 15 Live Auction Items. It is generally suggested

to have between 9-12. We were so blessed in this terrible economy.

I believe we cleared over $100,000 in the Live Auction alone.

I fully intend to get back in the saddle and focus on my wls journey.

One good thing is that I did drop to my lowest yesterday, so if I can just

keep up the good work, I will be good. I realize that I will not loose as

fast as I did before. I had surgery on July 12, 2009 and am down from 231

to 169. My personal goal is 120-140. The Docs say 150, which would be 75%

of my excess weight. I seem to always shoot higher and want to do more than

people think I can. Just my nature. We'll see. I know I look alot better, but I have

a vision of my old self. I will just keep plugging away.

I hope that you are all doing well. I have connected with one DS friend and we

occasionally text each other for support. It has helped, as well as provided a few

laughs. Always good medicine.
