me & my carer are more than just carer & client. We've been mates since we were first met. She was really stressed today when she turned up & told me that her bosses & other clients are expecting too much of her. We bumped into her sister while in town & she mentioned that she would like to just pack it in. I said "No! I can't loose you too!" I've had 4 carers in the past 10 years & have been good friends with 3 of them. Peggy left to work at the hospital & I haven't seen her for ages & Anne had to move down south for her Mother's health. Now Jeanette's talking about quitting but at least I know she only lives around the corner if I want to see her. She said she wished she had more clients like me & that I am a good friend to her. I felt a bit embarrassed but really pleased about it. Jeanette is a good friend to me & Diane & we have some really good laughs together.
