Isaac Alexander Jordan came into this world t 7:51PM today. He weighed 8 pounds 11 ounces and was 21 inches long. It was an incredible experience. Being our second child, I thought I would be ready and was I ever wrong!! First, she didn't do a c-section. Isaac came on his own. The 2+ hours of pushing seemed like forever, but I'm sure it seemed even longer for her. I have never seen such strength in anybody in my entire life. What it took for her to give birth taught me so much about love and dedication. What she put herself through for our family is a perfect example of motherly love. And through it all, I realized something else about her. Even though her hair was every which way, even though she was sweating quite a bit, and even though she looked tired and a little pale, she was the most beautiful to me than she has ever been. And the beautiful little boy she brought into this world is exemplary of her beauty. As I look at her sleeping, I realize that my love for her has not only grown but also added a whole new dimension. She is amazing.
