About Me
I am a wife and stay-at-home mom. I have struggled with bipolar disorder my adult life and have been very sick the past 2 years. My son, who is 5, is developmentally delayed and has a speech disorder called apraxia. I am in recovery now and just getting stable on my medications. I have a wonderful husband who is very supportive of me. My faith and my family are what get me through every day. I am learning to take life one day at a time.

Interests
Before I got really sick, I taught church preschool and loved it. I enjoyed singing in choir, Bible study, scrapbooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Close Bipolar Disorder
I was misdiagnosed early in life.For years I went to many doctors & therapists & tried many meds.I would sometimes seem better,but then I always got really sick again.A few years ago I was hospitalized & finally got the correct diagnosis of bipolar disorder.I have been in the hospital several more times since then.My turning point was my most recent hospitalization.I am finally on the road of recovery.
