End of April I noticed small red bump. It was sore. In 2 days I had two large painful bumps, chills & fever. Went to ER. Wounds lanced. Given Levaquin IV. Cultures done. Script for levaquin & bactrim. Frequent followups with Dr. double bactrim. add Rifampin. Allergic reactin to bactrim. Discontinue bactrim add Cipro. Wounds lanced total of 5 times. Fever all week. Mid July & I noticed a bump just tonight.
Treatments

- increased to double dose. Had allergic reaction. Rash, itch NAUSEA
- Bactroban Somewhat Helpful
- Hibiclens Somewhat Helpful
- Washing Somewhat Helpful
- Frequent handwashing & using hand sanitizing gel. 2 months after initial boils I now have a bump.
