    • Close Thyroid Cancer
      : Medullary Carcinoma

      July of 06 felt physically fine but had a raspy voice. Tests showed cancer and prompted a radical neck dissection, thyroid and lymph nodes removal and a trache.

      Treatments

      Radiotherapy Working / Worked
      7 weeks of radiation. Kept most C cells in check. Last few weeks were painful from the burns. Managed to get hooked on pain killers, which is another problem all together.

      Type: Other

      Thyroid removal, radical neck dissection and a trache

      Treatments

      Radiotherapy Working / Worked
      7 weeks of radiation. Managed to keep "C" cells in check. Last 2 weeks were miserable and subsequently got hooked on pain killers.
