I've been off site for several days...visiting w my mom.I think I'm going to move in with her..it's a tad scary,as I have been independent for so long.But we enjoy each others company,and get along well.This also will help me in the final break from Shane,and keep me from false hopes about getting back together with him.
NOW the hard part,motivating myself to pack up 30 yrs of STUFF!LOL!

Being bi-polar over 25 years, I was given a med back then that caused me liver and kidney damage. Finally mental health found that I was toxic and one doctor sent me instantly to my kidney specialist. We have watched this situation for over 19 years, with the last 3 years being very hard. We were partial caretakers of my husband's mother. When I was told over 3 years back that I needed dialysis, my husband and I went instantly to the dialysis dietitian. At this point, I began changing my diet.

- Group Therapy Not Working
- I enjoyed group therapy for a short time. It seemed to bother me more, hearing the problems of others. I see my counselor monthly and doing well.
- Lithium Not Working
- I took Lithium over 25 years ago and it worked fine for a while. My test results were not watched closely. I developed kidney and liver damage. I am now on peritoneal dialysis after 19 years with my kidney specialist. I am feeling much better now. Thank God!
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- I take 1/2 tab nightly to stop my racing thoughts and it has worked very nicely for me for years.
- Tegretol Not Working
- After getting off Lithium, I took Tegretol for several years. At that time, I lost control of my body temperature. It was like I had an inner and outer temperature. I couldn't tell when I was cold or hot without extra help to level my body temperature.
