Hi-I had a radical mastectomy in 1995 and have been doing pretty well. My tumor markers have been slowly rising, but doc. says it will be like my lupus-it may not be cured but will be managed (hopefully!) Glad to meet everyone.
First diagnosed with lupus 12 yrs ago. Also have Fibro. and Breast Cancer and langehan cell histiocytis.
I have been unemployed since May, 2008. Also have cancer, lupus, and fibromyalgia. Do not qualify for social services. Most money from unemployment goes to buy COBRA insurance because of health issues-not much left over. Don't know how to pay oil bill (now $1400 since last winter). I am very scared.
Hi-I have breast cancer (in remission), lupus, fibromyalgia, and now DDD. I had pain in my back, and to be sure, my oncologist had me get an MRI of my lumbosacral spine, to make sure that there was no cancer there. He wants me to see an orthopedic doctor, and a neurologist. Hopefully, joining this group will help me to deal with this. God Bless.

I fell in my basement head first on to the cement floor 2 weeks ago. Still suffering from head pain and loss of balance.
I have breast cancer (in remission), Lupus, FMS, post concussion syndrome, DDD. Have lived with pain for at least 25 years. Am now unemployed and the stress of that makes the pain worse. Hope to improve my situation. Am a single mom to 2 wonderful grown kids.
I suffered a brain injury in May, 2009, and especially have problems with concentration and attention. The neuro. is using adderall xr to see if it may be of some help.
I fell and now have post concussive syndroms. One of my problems is with balance and dizziness. When walking I will be planning to walk straight ahead, but my body will aim another direction. At other times, a wave of dizziness will just seem to wash over me and then be gone. It is all very weird.
Had a radical mastectomy and removal of all lymphnodes under my right arm in 1995. Went through the lymph. therapy-wrapping, massage,etc. Have been doing fine-stopped all treatment. Now am wondering if I should be evaluated again.
