About Me
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist under the Medical Board of Ohio, and Nationally Certified. I am also a Certified Professional Coder. (Medical Coding). I was working for a specialty Physical Therapy Practice in Ohio, which I really enjoyed. I lost my job because the Physical Therapy Board of Ohio changed their regulations as to anyone not licensed directly under their board working independently in private PT offices. This was insurance driven. The private insurance companies no longer wanted to reimuburse for support staff. I had just gotten a raise, and then lost my position because the office could no longer be reimbursed for my services. I have 5 state board licenses, but there are no jobs in Ohio, and I lost an entire industry in the clinical massage arena. Very scary. Unemployment doesn't even cover my rent and medical coverage. It has been a really tough couple of years in many areas of my life. Since I joined this site I have done a great deal of research into my personal situation, and health. Hopefully, some of the information I have accumulated has has helped a few people here dealing with the same situation, better understand their own issues and alleviate some of their fears and concerns. There is a great deal of useful information on this site, and caring people willing to take the time to share their insights and what they have learned.

I cannot thank you enough for the info you wrote in reply to my post about colposcopies and HPV. Thank you for taking the time to write all you did. I appreciate it very much. You are a good person. I learned a lot more from all you wrote. I am calmer now. Thanks again and God bless. ~Nadine
