Reading in your profile I see that you are a special ed teacher. Wow that makes you a special person. My husband is an OH teacher. He works with kids that are profound handicapp. He shares some wonderful encouragments with the kids. He loves them and since he is also a minister he prays for them. How do you cope with the fibro pain? Praying for you and praying that God will bless you because I know you are a blessing to the kids you teach. Love and Prayers, Berta

Hello to you! Hope that you are having a good Weekend. Im doing okay. SOrt of raining lots where I am. My doc told me that surgery would not help me because my damage is not concentrated in one area. My damage is more widely spread out up and down my lumbar spine. Guess all that gardening and weeding I use to do finally causht up with me. Now I dont do much of that outdoors stuff anymore. I miss that quite alot. Hope that you will take care of yourself better than I did in my past. Guess I should have not done so much activity and all. Bye for now a friend Mary

Open Back Pain
Degenerative Disc Disease from L1 to S1. No one will perform surgery and I'm told just to learn to live with the pain. I do have a great pain management doc. But, he is sending me back to PT so that he can justify continuing to prescribe the Nubain. I'd love to have disc replacement surgery to see if it would relieve or reduce my pain levels.
