Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Seconday Progressive MSi was dx with MS in 19999 but hindsite had it since 1995. now after 13 yrs have progressed to SPMS.. but i am still here and doing the best i can day to day i will not let MS win i refuse to give in
Treatments
- Betaseron Not Working
- started having severe depression and was having relaspes
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- been on copaxone for one yr and no new lesions and no further progressing so very happy
- LDN - Low Dose Naltrexone Working / Worked
- been on for a yr and no further progression or new lesions so am very happy with LDN
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- has completely taken care of my foot pain from the tonic spasms it is a lifesaver
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- PT for walking and balance which did help and strenthen my fingers and hands
- Prednisone Not Working
- does not help anymore makes me worse so i no longer take it
- Provigil Somewhat Helpful
- but only lasts about 5 hrs and than feel worse so just stopped taking it
- Solumedrol Working / Worked
- worked hated side effects that lasted about a month afterwards
- Zanaflex Working / Worked
- take for spasms and would be lost without it..
