It seems I have so much to do lately. I am sorry for being so slow to reply to all of my friends messages and journals. I am working my 3 hours a day. It is going pretty good really. It has it frustrating moments but fortunately only working 1 1/2 hour shifts really doesn't allow much time to get too frustrated. I also have the mower that I am working on rebuilding. Have the engine block back now and all the parts. Just need to find the time to get to work on it. Sunday Debbie and I decided to trim the tree away from around the antena. Well that turned out to be quite a job. Cutting the branches from the tree was really the easy part. It is cutting up all those small enough to put out at the curb so that the county will pick them up is the tought part. Got most of it done for todays pick up. Will have to finish the rest for next Tuesdays pick up. Also have th Van in the shop. The door locks developed a mind of their own and started to lock and unlock constantley. So far we are lucking and they have not said that we need to replace the reall expensive part yet. Should know for sure today though. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
I have my annual VA Drs. appointment tommorrow. Not expecting anything unusual just the regular, "you need to lose some weight" stuff. Also have a Drs. appointment with my therapist today. Don't expect much there either. Just kind of screws up the after noon to be able to do other stuff around here.
I finall got the controller for the antena moved next to my chair instead of the bedroom. That sure is nice. With this new digital stuff we have to adjust the antenna several times an hour it seems. Just really can't figure out why though. At least it is much more convient now though.
All of the work in the yard is causing much more pain and discomfort the last couple of days. I hope it will start to subside soon though. Hands and back are really stiff and sore.
Hope all of you are doing OK.
Brent

Hi Brent,
Despite your aches and pains, you get out there and do stuff! So the aches today are really 'good aches.' My husband is a diabetic with really bad PAD - it pains him to walk to the mailbox somedays. He's had stents, triple by pass, lazer work on his eyes, prostate cancer, etc. You sound so much like him - other than he's 73! He used to play golf 2 0r 3 days a week (stopped in 2000 due to bad eye sight and leg pain)and as the years go by he does less and less. He's always loved woodworking and has managed to completely remodel our basement (a big rec room/bar) as well as a Mediaroom/den over the last 15 years, but its slow going. His wordworking is professional class stuff though - everyone that sees it is astounded. But I'm sure he'd understand your problems. He gets easily discouraged and spends most of the time now in his recliner watching TV or on the computer. He was an Aeronautical Engineer and like you, can tackle almost any job - or used to be able to. Big difference is, you are so much younger. I feel badly for you and Debbie. But keep up all those things you're doing! Physical work may add to the pain, but you've gotta keep moving. I'll keep you in my prayers.
