Setting here this morning feeling a little............................numb. I am not sure just how I feel.......disappointed..........sad..........I just really don't know. I don't know why I don't feel comfortable with Obama. Am I predujust? I hope not. I kind of feel disappointed that my fellow Americans choose......I think......a President based on not being a Republican or Bush. I feel that if Bush had not screwed us over so much that things would have turned out completely different. I just can't shake this feeling that Obama is not what he claims to be.......sorry. If only he would talk about or release his records from Harvard and Columbia. Then explain how he traveled to Pakistan and why. I also cannot get past his belonging to Wrights church for 20 years and claiming he did not know what was being preached there. We is this not important to more Americans? We did the media not persue this more? I just can't help thinking that this man has dupted the country. I just don't know what to think at this point. There are stll many days before Jan 20, 2009. I can't help but think that something may still come to light before then. I don't think that he will do anything really bad being President. I don't really feel that he will sell out the entire country. I just don't think that he is what he wants everyone to believe he is. There is just to much he is keeping secret......why? He is a very good speaker and does say all the right things. He does talk about doing good things. I just can't help but hear almost everybody that talks about Obama bring up change. I feel that is what they were voting for more that him. I think this country is so tired of the way Bush has down things that my country would have voted in anybody that was not a Republican and who was promising change. I think they wanted that so baddly that they just overlooked all the things about him that should have been questioned and answered that wasn't. I truely hope that was not a big mistake that will come back and bite us all in the ass.....

Nobody is who they claim to be nowadays. I don't get involved in politics at all. I do believe there will be disappointment as there always is.

Everyone seems to be forgetting September 11th. Everyone loved George Bush and wanted us to go to war RIGHT THEN!! Heaven help us all.........

I suppose that hindsight will be 20/20 . I think people were ready for change but some of his attitudes bother me toward the rural folks.
All I can say is that the write up for what happened during Bushs term for in the history book, surely won't put him in a good light. The Banks and Real Estate Issues and the War too. Sounds pretty shabby.
I wouldn't want to straighten out this nations problems.

Obama has a lot going for him. He became a celebrity, he reaches many people, who talks about wonderful things. But... as you are, I am concerned. And I believe that as a leader of the county, the President should not base his policies on a popularity poll. Of course, he has to get support of the house and senate to get his policies passed, but you can't rule to be well-liked. Just as you cannot parent and be the best friend. It just does not work.

I think Obama presents himself as sincere, intelligent and possessing of much integrity, but we all have our own opinion. We'll see what happens.
