Well here we go again with the Hurricanes. Hanna looks like she is going to miss us here. Looks like she is going to visit most of the east coast though. Let hope she is not to mean to them. Ike looks like he is going to visit us here though. Looks like he is going to visit most of the southern part of Florida. Goin in near Miami and exiting near Tampa Bay. That put him right over the top of us....Oh boy can't wait to see him.....NOT....I still have most of the shutters up from Fay so it won't take me long to put the reast back up.

 

Took Duke to the Vet yesterday for his monthly shot for his hips. I had one other small issue and the bill was almost  (Sorry about the larger print I hit ctl and the $ by mistake and this is what happened I don't know how to fix it) $100 !!!!  WOW they are almost as expensive as the people Docs. He is worth it though. We will just have to eat mac and cheese for awhile.. lol Debbie is already planning  to work extra hours to pay for this.

 

Got the lawn mowed yesterday....sure am glad I have an old lawn tractor I would not be able to mow with a push mower and Debbie would have to do that too. Hope the old thing hangs in there as long as we need it.  Now the place looks good for Ike's visit the first of the week....LOL

 

As you all probably know by now I got pretty upset a couple of days ago about the attitude of a new person here. Well I appologize for bothering you with it. I am over it now and have moved on. I have had to deal with those types before in real life at my past jobs and they just really get me stired up. My experience has been that people with that "I'll say what I want and I don't care who it hurts" type of personality usually inflick much more pain than good and I just don't think someone like that needs to be on here unless they are looking for help to change. I don't think she is. Anyhow I am over it now. I thank all of my friends who sent me incouraging and supportive messages. Your friendship is greatly appriciated.
