I have been back on Prednisone for the last 5 days now. It is finally working the swelling is down in my ankle and my Calf compared to that on my left side. My Knee still has a little more to go about a half an inch. I feel better and am glad that I can move again. I guess I will a have to keep taking it off and on, because it is working and I don't like to stay in bed all day, because I can't move. I am much too active for that. I also started back with my Yoga and am doing ok. I still can't get down on my knees, but soon i know I will be able to do that too.
I am getting my Tooth pulled next Tuesaday and will have to be off Mtx for a week, I just hope that I won't get an Infection. Anyway, life is good right now.

Try sulfazalazine. It is not fast, but much better than prednisone, which just treats symptoms. I can breathe and talk and swallow because the RA nodule in my throat is disappearing. It makes the other joints seem silly.
