I went to my new Rheumy yesterday and I like him and his PA so much, that I am hopeful for the first time since I have been dX with RA in Dec. 08. I started MTX 3 weeks ago, but haven't seen any difference. I am also back on Pred because my Knee flared up 2 weeks ago. The pain is radiating down my leg into my foot. Maybe the pred will help it, always does. I also will probably start Remicade after 3 mos.If the MTX does not help. I hope it does help. I am a little scared to go on Biologics already. I just want my life back or whats left of it.

I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss. My mom was 89 when she died in February 2009. I truly believe our moms have met, and that they even played a part in our meeting each other. Please, remember that your mom may be gone physically, but, her spirit will always be near you. This is true most especially in times when you need her the most. Just talk to her, and tell her how you feel. She will hear you. Our loved ones never really leave us. Their spirits live on.
