Sodium chromoglicate, Intal, worked for my allergy asthma to, dust mites, feathers. I was free of chest infections for 10 years. I regret stopping it for homoeopathy; chest infections returned. 2 severe chest infections with influenza viruses. I was put on seretide. However my condition only improved when sodium chromoglicate was added to treatment. Intal has stopped being made in uk. I now use Nedocromil sodium,Tilade, which works as well as Intal. I'm now trying to reduce the corticosteroid.

      Treatments

      Flovent Working / Worked
Flixotide, fluticasone di-propionate. I've reduced from 500 twice a day to 250 twice a day over a few months with support of serevent. Reducing with long acting bronchodilator is better than without it. The side effects of reducing is inflammation of the bronchi. I use ventolin after 7-10 days of reducing until inflammation stops. For this pseudo asthma, adrenalin and anxiety symptoms I use a helpful technique: EFT, Emotional Freeing Techniques devised by Gary Craig (lots on the web).
      Inhaler Working / Worked
I used to take Sodium chromoglicate, Intal, for allergy asthma, dust mites, feathers, I was free of chest infections for 10 years. I stopped it to try homoeopathy; chest infections returned. I had 2 severe chest infections with influenza viruses over a few years. I was put on seretide. This helped but my condition only improved after using intal as well. Intal stopped being made in the uk. I now use Nedocromil sodium,Tilade, which seems to work as well as Intal.
      Serevent Working / Worked
I am taking serevent as a support to reducing the corticosteroid inhaler, flixotide, fluticasone di-propionate.I was unable to use the combination inhaler, seretide, because the serevent part is at a fixed dose of 50 twice a day. At 50 I got headaches and nose bleeds. Doctor reduced dose to 25 twice a day, in a separate inhaler, which stopped side effects. Our aim is to reduce and stop corticosteroid while continuing with serevent. I will then start to reduce Serevent use.

      Synthroid Working / Worked
25mcg took about one year for my energy levels to be up to 2005 levels. I had severe asthma develop in 2005 at menopause. I had 2 periods of 3 months off work. My hair stopped growing early 2007, the final symptom plus a distant healer's advice alerted me to request a test which showed abnormally high TSH
