I am 41, and have been feeling increasingly worse since 2001. Some symptoms are vague but some very specific. I have moved 3 times during this period and have had what I consider to be substandard health care at most times with intermittent good doctors. I have serious concerns about Ovarian cancer with a family history but can't seem to get anyone to listen nor run the appropriate tests. Some of this I'm sure has to do with my insurance, but I think maybe more has to do with the complex and sometimes baffling symptoms that I am experiencing. I know there has to be someone out there who is in this same situation or maybe someone who navigated their way through it and can give me some advice. My Mom has stage iv inoperable cancer right now, so there's really noone I can talk to about this. I don't want to worry her and my husband just thinks "get some rest" is a cure all. Please help!

Please contact your insurance company and tell them that you need a second opinion. Please ask if you can see a GYN oncologist. You may not have OC but you shouldn't be ignored. Take care and I hope for the best for you Hugs Kathy
