* waves * I'm a misplaced desert rat ( nickname for desert dwellers ). Traveled most of my life but lived in two desert states. Husband's UPS job took us to Louisville where we bought a farm in S. Indiana. Second year here I and my son both contracted LD. Had bullseye rash, flu like symptoms, etc. Diagnosed & treated with doxycycline. He seems OK but years later I'm still fighting symptoms and sooooooo frustrated. No one seems to understand. Not even doctors. Guh! Looking for others who're going through this. Hope you're out there!
