Close Rosacea

Perhaps my skin was weakened by exposure to hot sun. Perhaps homoeopathy caused problems. It was only subsequent to homoeopathy (which I stopped after a while) that my GP diagnosed rosacea. A year or two later I suddenly lost part of my hair - diagnosed as alopecia and irreversible. However over a couple of years white hair grew back followed by the original colour. I hope that if the doctors are wrong about the incurability of alopecia they are also wrong about rosacea.

Treatments

Erythromycin Working / Worked

More or less works. Have reduced from 4 tabs a day to 2. I would like to wean off it completely but the doctor advises to stay on it. Digestion not so good and am not sure if this is related.

MetroGel Working / Worked

This worked very well and only stopped working when the ones of the concentration I used were withdrawn from the UK NHS. The lower concentration failed and I was moved on to oral antibiotics. My current doctor says it is likely returning to a gel would not work as ny rosacea has likely got worse. This seems speculative to me.
