Well, I finally got out of my funk. I'm not sure why but it has lifted and I feel great. I was telling my best friend a few minutes ago that my mood seems to go from one extreme to another. She laughed and said, "That's just the roller coaster ride called Divorce." So true.
Anyway, I feel much more up and energetic. I'm exercising, enjoying working in my yard (surprise, surprise). Almost have my 'art room/guest room' put together. I am really excited to start doing some artwork again. I joined Jenny Craig today to try and shed these extra pounds I have put on due the stress of my marriage the last few years. I'm going to join a gym this week. Still working on the job situation but I do feel more confident that I will find something sooner than later.

I haven't smiled all day...and then I read your journal...and smiled. I am just so happy for you!! You've gone through so much and have persevered to be in a healthier happier place and have such a great attitude about it. I say this a lot, but "attitudes are contagious. Is yours worth catching?". HELL YEAH!
Big hugs to you...I'm so proud of the way you are taking care of yourself and embracing life.
Hugs,
Tori

I am so happy for you. Those mood changes are a killer for sure. I am glad you are taking control of your life and doing things just for you. You inspire me. I am sorry I have not checked in for a while, but thank you for bringing me a smile after I read your journal entry. You GO GIRL! Have a great weekend.....I am here to give you support anytime...K.

wow! Your improving. I like how some set goals or ideas of goals they want and then pursue them. I'm glad you like art....cause I do to! I used to hit the gym 5 days a week...now since all this has happened I find it hard to just get 3 days in a week....man I was such a gym rat..now I have to force myself there....anyhow I'm glad you feel so much better. Like I told someone else on here....people that can get past the pain for the most part are signs and proof for the rest of us that its possible. Glad you have great motivation!

I hope you continued on the upswing and are feeling some good momentum. I think I'm climbing out of my latest funk too. I just blame it on biorhythms or whatever other excuse I can think of - whatever it is, it passes.
