Journal 15th Nov 09Now I know I am back in my second home....Driving through the darkness from Tunis and out to the country...the many fascinating …
My Dad is 68 and was diagnosed PD around 5 years ago now. I am his carer. We are finding the disease difficult to cope with and essentially its like being on a roller coaster with good days and bad days. DS has been a great help to me as a carer bc there are days you dont know where to turn for comfort and support...but here I have a few friends who have been real stars to me (huge hugs!) As a person I love the arts. I eat, breathe and sleep music and have done pretty well for the whole of my life. Being Irish I love a good laugh and to have fun with my friends. I also love the sea bc a ship was my home for a good few years...dont ask me about a force 10 gale tho...LOL. Finally I believe we are all here for a reason and I also believe that when God brings certain people together..such as on DS there is also a reason....Im hoping to have a positive influence on everyone I meet on here.....
