oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i had the best labor day ever!!!!!!!!!!!! my best friend and i took a road trip to the little burg of fairfield Ia. it was there that we got in line and got wonderful tickets and listened to the BEACH BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we were so close i culd see his face, but not the wrinkles... they performed for two hours straight... i think only the one guy was the original, but the others sang great and sounded like it was the 60's again. course i was only in single digits then, the 60's that is. i worked up such a seat that i was still damp when i got home 2 hour later! we had no real idea where fairfield was, but we decided sunday night that we'd go.out came the maps and atlases.... and on the road we were!!! when we got off the interstate, it said maharishi university this way.. we had a good laugh and then found out they were serious!!!i figured it was fictional.... i was wrong the coupe we sat next to was from minneapolis mn and came there for that and the concert. they had a group that introed them and they were pretty good. the nadas. yes, i said nothing.... that was their name. had to buy a concert shirt. on the internet it said there were plenty of concessionsNOT!!! hy-vee and local grocer fixed food. burgers, chicken, veggie burgers, and turkey burgers for 5bucks and that was basically it!! so i had a burger and had brought along some baked chips. i have been dieting and have lost approximately 15 pounds. so no bun with that burger.... it was a really good time and we only spent 40 bucks for the tickets!!!!! i would go again it was a great road trip. only a day one though, not like the one sandy and i took...... hope everybody is great..... take care and big hugs, deby

I am sooo jealous!!! If I was up home I would have gone with you!! What a blast, and those tickets were pretty cheap. I think they charged more down here. My sister used to live in Fairfield, Ia. Don't know why I just told you that, sorry!! You have so much fun Deb, never get old sweety!! Love ya sandy
