i am most definately in the pink!!! just back from taking a nice leisurely ride on betty. i know i always go on about how she handles like a dream AND SHE REALLY DOES!!!!!!!! i am really glad my hubby talked me into buying a different bike. i thought the old one was nice.... but not nearly as nice as my new betty. for those of you who don't know betty is my motorcyycle. and she is soooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun!!! it was a gorgeous day, the country side smelled fantastic ( except for the dead skunk we went by somewhere out in BFE!) the corn was so tall and the soybeans even looked good. we bought some peaches and cream sweet corn yesterday and froze most of it today. we purchased 6 dozen ears. they were picked yesterday and along with that we got some farm fresh eggs. the corn was so sweet last night i ate two ears.... we put it in qt. size bags. did that last year and it was really good and we went thru it fast. gonna get some more later in the week. only 4 bucks a dozen. not too awfu bad a price. hope arthur is leaving all of my friends all alone and since it is summer , maybe he took his vacation and forgets to return. boy wouldn't that be way too great! last week the grandkids from chicago stayed at my house for three nights. we went to a pool that was in BFE, but it was fantastic! three diving boards, two slides , a baby pool and a spray area too! oit only cost 3 for adults and 2 for kids. we had a ball!!!!! well enohg of me and mine hope all is well. take care and big hugs, deby

Damn that sounds nice Deby. Summer fun, no doubt. The brings back memories of a twilight ride I had down the Sacramento Valley, maybe 30 years ago. I stopped to pick peaches, and ate them by the road. I have a cool photo that'll I try to find, and post. Thanks for bringing back that memory.

It's good to see you're in the pink! By the way, as I was giving Doug a hug this morning, I saw that you mentioned Pogo to him. If you ever see "DDinOC" in the game rooms, that's me. (I was playing bingo last night, but I most often play word whomp.)

well you sure are having too much fun!! I wish we had a water park around here that was that inexpensive!! Hope you got your corn. I bought some yesterday and its was so good I want to go and pick up some more. Question, and its a stupid one, how do you freeze it?? Now don't make fun of me, I just asked!! Hugs me

sandy we shuck it and cut it off the cob, put it in freezer bags and put it in the freezer... worked well last time!bought special corn cob thingamabobs at bed,bath and beyond.

There's nothing like fresh picked sweet corn! The water park sounds great, we have bunches of suburban pools around us that have water slides and play areas for little ones but the price is much higher. Glad to hear you are enjoying Betty, hugs jilly
