i am sooooo bad. i did not realize that i have not journaled in ages!!!!!! sorry nothing new.    let's see that if in another 700 miles they try to fall off again.... youngest daughter asked me last week if i would sew her wedding dress(she is 6 ft) i told her yes and asked her when and she said 2 years. i told her i will try but it may fall to her older sister(only other seamstress) and they are not on the best of terms all the time. she said why and i said i don't know if my ra will let me... hey somethings you just can't predict. such is life!!haven't actually been on the bike lately, either the weather is not cooperating or the grandkids are here.hope all of my friends are doing well.the weather here today is good , but guess who is visiting.... you got it!! daughter is at work.been walking 2 miles 5 days aweek with my 75 year old aunt. sometimes she is hard to keep up with.... and she is shorter than i. i feel good and i am enjoying talkg to her. take care . hugs,d eby

If you think you're bad for not journaling in a a few weeks, then I'm awful - I haven't written anything in months! Did you have a nice 4th of July? The weather has finally turned hot here after a very mild June.

i spent the fourth primarily with my younger two daughters. one photographing the others in-laws having a family reunion. one person did not realize that i was a relative of one of the attendees and not just with the photographer. did i mention the family reunion was mainly black and i am blonde and so is the photographer.so the two of us kindo f stuck out like sore thumbs and they mostly had red shirts on. i am not being racist, it is a fact. i had a wonderful time and even remembered names there had to be atleast fifty to seventy five people if you count all the children and spouses. it was basically a mother and her four daughters and ALL of their of spring and spring offs.... they were all very wolcoming and freely gave of everything!!!and my daughter got lots of wonderful portraits for them to choose from.

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend the 4th. I love your terms 'all of their offspring and spring offs...too cute. That is awesome you are walking so much. I've been so bad lately about trying to exercise and right now the house is torn up because of new windows and waiting on them being stained...see I have another excuse...kudos to you for exericising thru the pain!!!

you are so funny!! Springs and off springs?? Sounds like a mattress commercial!! Hey did you two go riding last night with the full moon?? BE careful, most people don't take time to look for bikes especially at night. The dress saga will continue for the next year. She should know you will do it if you can. She is one lucky girl to have a mother that can sew more than a hem in a dress!! hugs me

What a great post! I can't imagine doing a dress (with or without RA!). Spring and offsprings - I agree, very cute! Hope the rest of the week is a good one for you.

There was a time when I could have sewn a wedding dress but I'm probably past that. I did make the veil for Allison's wedding and I'm good for a few Halloween costumes, but my back hurts too much when I have to lean over anything. Your 4th sounds wonderful and lots of fun! The walking, wow is the only thing I can think of! Don't ever stop, just like you said, "move it or lose it!" hugs jilly
