good morning everyone.. we have stayed a night in springfield il. first stop of three before we land in austin, tx... it was uneventful except for my bag trying to fall off the bike!! for some odd reason the bolt broke in half going down the road.... wonderful.. good thing we brought bungies and cargonets!!!! gotta see today after the rain passes us by if we can find a bike shop gonig down the road that can put a new one in and if they can do it in a timely fashion.. supposed to be in south memphis tonight.... SOMETIME!!!!! on a lighter note... we did not get any rain til we hit after peoria, il. adn then we got drowned..... but until then the bikes ran like dreams.......... smelling the clover along side the road is fantastic. infact sitting here at the puter i can still imagine that smell... ahhh yes... smellavision...... well we will be getting out of here once the storm passes.. talked to sandym and her hubby wayne last night cuz i am almost in her area an wyne suggested that we try a place in litchfield just 47 or so miles south of here... it is a place they hae beento before... well i'll keep you abreast of my travels... oh, last monday the oldest grandson had his titanium bar removed from his chest and i went to chicago to keep time with that family.. it was nice to visit and then i took him home with me and he stayed a few days.. he eats alot, but other than that he was no problemm he is 16. had to take him back to peoria for his dr to look at his incision it was bleeding a little too much for me.. now we have to change it everyday... he is on vacation with his grandpa dan in virginia beach and his parents are on their way to disney, middle child is playing in band at disney.... la ti da!! everybody is goig every which way.... talk to you later. hope arthur is on bacation to but not with any of my friends here on ds. hugs, deby

Clover smells so good doesn't it!! I just don't care for the pig farms. ugh!!! I do hope you got your bolt fixed in Litchfield, or somewhere close by. Enjoy your ride, and I just know you have that helmet on , right??? I hope you missed the rain this morning Wayne said it looked like you were going to drive right into it. Glad you are having a great trip. Hpoe the rain avoids you from now on! Your grandson's bar removal sounds more complex than Rob's hope he heals up fast!
