well, i went to the chiro with him today to find out what i can do to support him with this terrible back problem. for some odd reason i was thinking he need to ice either before or after he did his exercises. and i was right!!!!!!! but i wanted to know what to stop him from doing or what it was ok for him to do. yeah it is the mom in me.....he was talking about getting a lifting belt thingamjobber and i told him no it would just give him a false sense of security. chiro said he thought it would only be one more visit and he would have done all he could. but if it comes back come onin. imagine that !!!!! anywho... i felt better. hubby said see i told you i was not faking. i told him i believed him all along. and that i was trying to support him in his

' kinda like i want him to do for me... you all know what i mean. i think he was shocked. i think i might join him in him back stretching exercises though.... couldn't hurt if the body wil lparticipate...i really can't complain... i live in sinus valley so i am having headaches. ... but all the body parts are working. i had problems last night, but that was all my own doing. played on cake-mania on the puter from 10pm til5 am. yep no wonder the fingers wanted to curl up and die!!! i gotta pace myself on that . it was addicting!!! well it was more like a normal october today, now if it will just stay wthis way for a while!!well i think i have rattled on long enough, ya'll take care now. huge gentle hugs, deby

hubby went ot the chiro today. his back is totally messed up!! he has bone spurs on his vertebrae and the vertebrae are concave. he is not to sit much at all. supposed to be prone.. gotta do some PT at home. and goes back tomorrow. maybe have to have surgery. no more heavy lifting ... no moving people when they need it! he said somethingabout using a back brace and i told him emphatically NOOOOO then yuo'd just feel like you could do anything and that better not happen.... i need to go to the chiro with him to get more info, but it doesn't seem to be good news... hope everybody is haveing an ok day.... take care. hugs,deby

he used to be a warehouseman in his other life for 28 years before he started at the hotel.. i plan to go to the chiro with him tomorrow. thanks allot. deby

Deby...all I can say is, "ouch!" Nothing hurts like back pain. There's no relief no matter how you sit or stand, it seems. I hope they can get him better soon. Hugs, Lisa

oh how horrible! I am so fortunate to have never had back pain save for the fractured scapula that was near my spine, and that was horrible. I hope that he will listen and take care of himself! How are you doing Ms. Deby??

Umm, Deb, I don't like the sound of this. I had bone spurs on my spine when I had my first back surgery. A back brace is not the way to go, you are right he would just keep doing what he has been doing!! Man he has to be so miserable. Hope the PT works. He will have to strengthen the back muscles to hold the spine straight. It never worked for me, but I am dirt, and he is spring!! Tell him I am sorry he is so miserable. Hugs Sandy
oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i had the best labor day ever!!!!!!!!!!!! my best friend and i took a road trip to the little burg of fairfield Ia. it was there that we got in line and got wonderful tickets and listened to the BEACH BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we were so close i culd see his face, but not the wrinkles... they performed for two hours straight... i think only the one guy was the original, but the others sang great and sounded like it was the 60's again. course i was only in single digits then, the 60's that is. i worked up such a seat that i was still damp when i got home 2 hour later! we had no real idea where fairfield was, but we decided sunday night that we'd go.out came the maps and atlases.... and on the road we were!!! when we got off the interstate, it said maharishi university this way.. we had a good laugh and then found out they were serious!!!i figured it was fictional.... i was wrong the coupe we sat next to was from minneapolis mn and came there for that and the concert. they had a group that introed them and they were pretty good. the nadas. yes, i said nothing.... that was their name. had to buy a concert shirt. on the internet it said there were plenty of concessionsNOT!!! hy-vee and local grocer fixed food. burgers, chicken, veggie burgers, and turkey burgers for 5bucks and that was basically it!! so i had a burger and had brought along some baked chips. i have been dieting and have lost approximately 15 pounds. so no bun with that burger.... it was a really good time and we only spent 40 bucks for the tickets!!!!! i would go again it was a great road trip. only a day one though, not like the one sandy and i took...... hope everybody is great..... take care and big hugs, deby

I am sooo jealous!!! If I was up home I would have gone with you!! What a blast, and those tickets were pretty cheap. I think they charged more down here. My sister used to live in Fairfield, Ia. And I thought I was a crazy computer person (love freeslots.com and the AOL games. I'm sorry your hubby is having back problems - I've had to baby mine for years but so far, no surgery on it (yay, one body part they are leaving alone!)

You are just plain crazy!! Playing a game for that many hours?? lol I have done it also. Glad somebody mentioned this was a game, I didn't know what cake mania was. I thought you were baking for all those hours at first!!! I know call me stupid I can take it. I sure do hope Russ is feeling ok, He needs to find a good ortho doc, and get some tests done. Talk to you later sweety. Oh I called an old high school friend last night, and she said something about ICP, and I mentioned I had a good friend that worked there . She asked who and I said your name, and she asked ifyou were the blonde, and I said yup that was you!! She must go there alot, she said she would mention my name to you so you would know who she was.
