I am married 22 years to, like you, I suddenly felt he was a stranger. But things are great now, because he is truely mortified by his behavior. I wish you happiness...............

I suspected my husband of having an affair. I received a call on my birthday last year about him having an affair with someone -name given. Confronted him, he denied it. I did some snooping and found out in January 2008 that he did indeed have an affair, but with an old lover (lover from 18 years ago when we were separated for a year). The name given to me by my caller, and his ex-lover are not the same. He denies the callers allegations, he denied all allegations of any sort of affair until I confronted him with a few emails from his old lover. I always thought he was a good, attentive, loving husband to me. We had a good marriage. I now feel like I am living with a stranger. I do not want to take any drugs to deal with this, I just want advice. I have told no one of my problem.
