My grandson has gone back to training. This time to NC at Camp Geiger. After 2 more months of advanced training he will be deployed somewhere, we don't know where. His weeklong visit culminated with a big party to celebrate his high school graduation, his boot camp graduation and his birthday, which is tomorrow. So now we have a bona fide Marine in the family. We are all very proud.
I will be going back to physical therapy for a few more visits for my arms. Right now karpel tunnel seems to be impacting my right wrist so I won't be writing much today.
Wishing everyone well during these difficult economic times. Remember to think green and eat the leftovers.
Today my daughter and son left for Parris Island to pick up my grandson who is graduating from Marine boot camp. I'm very proud of him. Another grandson is staying with me while his Dad is on the trip. We went to visit another daughter who has a new puppy and he played with PS2.
I started off the day not feeling very well physically and now feel fine. Hope tomorrow starts off much better, physically.
I've had a call from a friend in the program and that felt really good. She is a very nice lady who chose to share some things with me. That makes me feel good too.

Went to my first class reunion today, the 45th. It was interesting seeing so many middle aged people who looked vaguely familiar. There were only 2 people that I actually recognized and 1 who I came to realize was someone I knew too. One of the women had snow white hair but she still had her smiling face, good bones and a good personality, just as I remembered her.
I am trying new things and trying to learn my away around here after having been away for 40 years. Today was good. I plan to spend part of the evening at an AA mtg.
