About Me
Hello...I'm sober for a few 24hrs, those 24hrs have turned out to be some years & some days. I'm not big into counting unless I'm counting TOWARDS something like...vacation, savings account...or mins. I need to subtract from my best marathon run. I nil the birthday counting thing...it reminds me too much of time wasted not time accomplished. I should not get kudos for behaving like a worthy human being like I should have been all along. I live on the beach, quite frankley it's paridise around here. It's perfect place for recovery because there is no night life & all nature and beauty. I'm an optician/optholmic scrub tech for laser & cat surgery. My passion & recent business of 4yrs is Health & Fittness consultant/personal trainer. I have no children & no husband. I don't love easy and really am quite unsure of what it means. I've been married once to a wonderful man---we are still friends. We parted when we were both in school , too much time studing and no time loving or knowing each other. I have been an alcoholic since I was twenty -eight. I did not drink much before then. Too busy being smart & successful...lololo. I'm happy on my lil island in the south, I'm learning more everyday. I'm been told I can be hard on people , but I'm even harder on myself. I love the color yellow...sunshine, I love old cars & old country music, and I love old movies & I read books like no tommrow, I am the "Looks at Books " review editor for my local paper. I love most of all being sober & a chance to not only discover who I am , but what all I can do. You know I could be president one day....ahhhhaaaa ...made ya laugh. Happy to be a part of this wondrful network of recovery look forward to meeting many friends ..across all oceans and time zones.

Interests
Surfing...surfing....boating, fishing, did I say surfing? Runner, reader, did I say surfing? weight lifting, softball, rollarblading, did I say surfing? Cycling for charities is really the coolest, and did I say "kite" surfing? I like people who look me in the eye and not in the boobs, I like intelligent debate and free thinking. I am always envious of someone who is able to be just who they are ..without a care... That is something I would like to experience. I am currently going to school for a pilots license, my dad always flew and I want to fly too. My father died 3yrs ago. So my flight plan is a lil "touch & go". I travel as much as I can. To everywhere that I can. So thats my interests. Thank you for your time & reading..Happy soberity friends!!!
