Hi. I have been diagnosed with a form of rheumatic arthritis that is rare. It is called polymyagic rhumatitis and can be blinding as well as crippling. I need to talk to people who have various forms of rheumatism to compare possible treatments and cure. Close Sleep Apnea
Diagnosed with periphial neuropothies, vertigo and depression. Things could always be worse, I guess. Also severe sleep apnea.
Treatments
- CPAP Not Working
- Hard to sleep in pain. Found out I had periphial neuropathies also. Fight with the mask all night. I try my best but ohhhhh well.
Close Menopause
I am turning 59 in September. I have neuropothies and a bad immune system which has forced me to get out of nursing. When my body has a 'ghost' period, I get terrible syptoms, mainly depression. I need to talk to someone please. Thanks

Open Rheumatoid Arthritis
I was just diagnosed with polymayalgic rhumatitis. Don't think it's even in the dictionary. The connective tissue from muscle to bone is inflamed and I can't walk anymore. It could lead to blindness and I'm quite frightened as I am a writer. Has anyone even heard of this disease??
Treatments
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Prednisone has knocked out my emotion centre in the brain. I am hungry all the time and have difficulty sleeping. My perception of things have changed. I have not finished my dose yet.
