Haven't been on much- been super busy trying to keep up with my little guy, work and home- while hubby is away.- His deployment ends in a few months- then we'll have the lovely job of trying to get used to him being home- and he- getting used to being a civillian, dad and husband again... ahhh transition.

Had my colonoscopy Tues. (boy the prep was worse than I remembered) the results were better than I expected- yeah!  My disease is active again- but appears to only be in one place- right where my surgery was... typical.  But- I'm not deeply ulcerated.  The Dr. thinks the Sulfazaline will cut it- I'm hoping the naseau it's causing will improve... I get the official biopsy results in a few weeks.

I lost my beautiful Bella Puppy a few weeks ago- am heart broken-  I still hear her whining to come in, and feel like I need to hury home to let her in....

good luck with the adjustment, that's great that he will be home soon! yay! my sister just got back from 4 months deployed with the air force, it wasn't too long, but i still think it took her some adjustment time.

sorry about your doggy, that's so hard! at least you are feeling a little better and that your disease isn't too bad...that is good news! hang in there!!!

Oh Hon, good news and bad news! I am hoping the best for your flareup--praying it will respond to the medication. I have to have a scoping for the Barrett's in the spring,--rather uneasy about that as well. I am so sorry about the puppy!
I have been through that, losing our beloved Mandy a little more than a year ago. She was my constant companion and comfort after Jamie died--a true part of our family. I know it is early to consider it, but perhaps after hubby is home and things return to normal for you, another dog might be welcome? Especially for the little guy?? I didn't want one, but my pic says it all! My Toby is my "little man" and is one of the most loving dogs I have ever had! Looooves everyone, adults, and kids, alike,...we always say "he wants one of his own!" Lol--You take care, Hon, and please keep in touch! Love & Hugs, Judy

Sounds like you got a nice mix of ups and downs! Transition; isn't that what it all comes down to?
