      I hope to meet other people in my age range who are serious about losing weight, so we can help each other get through these parties and nights out at bars (that are unfortunately so central to our social lives) without counteracting our hard work!       Counting Calories Somewhat Helpful
      it's HARD and not very sustainable for weight maintenance. it helped me learn what the appropriate size for a meal is.
      DailyStrength Working / Worked
      This is just the kind of support I needed! None of the friends I hang out with are going through the same thing right now. It really helps to have people who are looking out for me!
      Physical Exercise Working / Worked
      only works in combination with counting calories for me for weight loss. for weight maintenance it's great.
      Positive Thinking Working / Worked
      I didn't start seeing the value in this until I joined DailyStrength!
      Running Working / Worked
      I've always had an attitude of "I'm not a runner. I'm not built for it." This is very new to me. Can't say I love it, but sometimes it's easier than getting to the gym, and it really makes me proud!
      Strength Training Somewhat Helpful
      It at least makes the gym less monotonous and is a good pride-booster when I add more weight resistance to an exercise I've been doing
      Dietitian Consult Working / Worked
      This has been AMAZING! I went from counting calories and really struggling to lose weight yoyoing and feeling like I had a constant battle with food... to losing a little bit of weight every day and not even feel like I have to try hard or think about it! Its only been a few days so far but man am I seeing results. The new plan my nutritionist came up with for me is something I can really maintain over a lifetime.
