So far my oldest son has had around $400,000 worth of medical bills from where he was born prematurely. He is worth every penny though. As in most cases, the state will not help us, so it is a daily struggle. We do have insurance, but still owe around $90,000.

My son was born at 25 weeks and weighed 1 pound and 13 ounces. Today he is 3 1/2 and pretty much very healthy and active, but has a few developmental issues. We are blessed to have him.

I have 2 sons, one will soon be 4 and the other one is 2. I am a stay-at-home dad.
Open Diabetes Type 1
Diagnosed a couple of years ago, and was just on pills. As of today, 6-26-08, I have started the insulin injections.
