American Military is such a special phenomenon... Mood
Wednesday, June 3, 2009 | An Inspiring story
"Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you...
Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.

One died for your soul, the other died for your freedom.

Lt. Col. Grant L. Rosensteel, Jr., USAF"

The American Military is such a special phenomenon...there are no words to express the deep appreciation we have for others in our situation...we are determined to protect our freedoms and willing to support those who are putting themselves out there in harms way for us, for U.S.!

Parental Love Mood
Wednesday, June 3, 2009
These words of wisdom are now yours, Mom/Dad..."I'd rather be alone than be in the company of another who does not respect me."

This is especially true of a former husband, friend, lover...Really concentrate on surrounding yourself with those that love you and respect you...try not to take anger at him out on others, especially children...they will respect you more than they respect him for that! If they are a little older be honest with them and be sure they know it is he who walked out and gave up...you are still there and their parent who loves them forever.

My Experience with Melanoma Mood
Wednesday, March 4, 2009

My Melanoma was malignant...talk about scary. My little sister had just died of cancer at the time of diagnosis.

It was a spot on my shin area that DID NOT LOOK like any of the HUNDREDS of photos I saw on line of skin cancer. I had asked my Dermatologist about it three times over about a year and a half...he always said, "oh, its nothing" and then on the fourth trip to see him for something else, he glanced at it and then whipped out his monacle to look closer and said, "Can you come in tomorrow? That has to come out!"

Can  you believe that?????

He took a hunk out of my leg, and by the next week I was back in there because he did not cut deep enough. This time it was about the size of a half of a golf ball...took about a year to heal too. Turned out I was allergic to Bacitracin which didn't help! I had to go to another Doctor because he also did not think it was infected.

NO tanning beds, sunning with no lotion or worse with oil...bake and burn not the way to go...let me tell you that it can also be on your scalp, so have someone check your scalp as well.

I am ok now, watching a couple of spots though.
