Close Physical & Emotional Abuse
Four 1/2 years ago i relocated my daughter and myself to another state to be with a man whom i thought was my "Prince Charming" Well you can imaginge how that went. Now almost five years later, i find myself in the midst of an emotional and verbal abuse nightmare. Everything is picked apart, my parenting skills, my driving, even our physical intimacy. Now after realizing that i am really in an abusive relationship, i'm taking the steps to decide leave or stay.
Treatments
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- I am reading two books regarding how to survive verbal abuse in a relationship using REBT AND CBT. It seems to be working. I'm still taking baby steps thought.
- Talking Working / Worked
- Found this website by accident one day after praying to God for guidance.
