: Clinical (Major) Depression

Well, ive been depressed ever since i was eight years old, when i was sexualy molested by my 15 year old step brother, this continuted till i was 17 years old. I began therapy when i was 10 because of my behavior. My family didnt see what was going on, and thats why they werent sure why i was acting as i was. I've always been a desctructive person. However it really hit me when i was 12 when i began cutting myself and began doing cocaine, then it moved on to marajauina, then it moved on to acid and herion. About 4 months ago i was put in the hospital for commiting sucicde, i would have but they caught me. I dont want anybody to help me. I want to go, i dont want to be here anymore. Being as my parents are divorced its some what difficult becasue they are truly two different people, which it makes it hard to be myself around them. It is basically my job to keep them away from eachother. Becasue i dont want to experince what my brother and i had to experince all most every other weeekend, having the cops show up at our house, while me and my brother were crying hysterically upstairs, not knowing what was giong to happen.

Ive had many thearpist and you have to go around to find the right one for you. I have been to about at least 8. and im still not sure im done looking.

Prozac Not Working

Worked for a while then didnt work at all.

Writing Somewhat Helpful

It was nice to write everything down and get everything out. However its not too good when your parents read your personal thoughts and ventings. Esp. when your thearpist has incoraged you to do so. So after they read them i burned all my journals which i really really didnt want to do. Becasue i like reading back on them.

It is mind over matter. However when you think as i do you live in a different world than others.

It made me shake so bad i couldnt dary a straight line with a ruler.

Celexa Working / Worked

Iam still on celexa its been worrking so far. Weve uped the does and owered the does many times however.

Cymbalta Not Working

Meditation Working / Worked

I did yoga with my brother it is very worth it if you continue to do it. However i dont have that much time. Its relaxing and it refreshes you. Really if you do it right you feel like a new person.

Abilify Working / Worked

It worked for my mood however it made me very light headed and dizzy.

ditn work as well as other medications

Iam still on this like the other medicatiosn they always up and lower the does. i guess its working im still on it after at least a year.. which is the longest ive ever had any medication stay with me.

Lithium Not Working

helps with my acid reflux but not so much the ulcers

Pepto-Bismol Working / Worked

very good!

Prilosec Working / Worked

this is an equalivant to nexium however it helped settle my stomach.
