 Hi everyone.

Well, wednesday night (aug 29th)I got body slamed by a BUG..a cold/sinus/miserable bug. Was fine then wham. Had a hurting scrathcing throat and then all night I could not breathe from the congestion, and head and body aches screaming at me. I have had my nose broke a few times and have a deviated thingy. know what I mean,?? so when I catch a cold I have like one airway to get my breath. What a long night. yesterday was a challening day to say the least and today, actually got out and about. My sweetie, life partner is always hinting at me to get out and drive somewhere? where in circles? I dont know anyone in this town we moved to exactly a year ago, well, the neighbors around us, but walk ..dont drive. G whiz , with the price of gas it isn't even feasible to be out wasting gas on getting out and about. Every single day the gas pricees change. I just don't get it how that is even legal. Talk about price goucing.. I thought that was illegal. So, now we are living 6 more miles away then last year. We moved into our home, this place , exactly 1 year ago. Wow, can't believe this year has gone so fast and soon the snow will fly.!! Last night all three girl kitties who sleep with me have been watching over me and everyone stayed close..all huddled up with their mommy.!! they sing such pretty lullabyes to me at night.  the " other half' sleeps upstairs, and since we have two kitties that don't like each other, well I keep them seperated. Tootsie , her room is the bathroom and the 3 other girls and I use the computer/office room/my bed. Fancy, our only male loves all the girls. Well, love might be to strong. He honors his " sisters".  He seems to have esp. When I do get out and about, I always have him come in while I am gone. Usually I have to go out and get him to check on him during the day, but those few times I do go somewhere he just automatically comes in.  Tootsie will go into the downstairs bathroom and then get up in the mirror and talk and talk. I suppose she thinks it is another kitty. Almost breaks my heart, since her and the other girls cant all be together and no fighting. So I am going to get a kitten and offer it to toots as HER kitty kitty..so she isn't alone when upstairs.!! Also our boy, Fancy, he has always had a buddie, Tallie, but when we moved in here, a mean cat chased him off or beat up on him. We haven't seen Tallie since mid october. He was so special I have so many stories about my kitties. Anways, Fancy is lost without his best friend. they were born about the same time. He could sure use a buddy too, to go in and out with him. Humm,that would add up to 7 cats.The owners of our house had a kitty that they put outside. I am pretty sure they left him on purpose. This big black male started coming around. He was mean mean mean. I think he chased Tallie off with a fight and he hurt Fancy really bad twice and had to run Fancy  to the vet with bad puncture wounds. Yikes. Kittys can get so sick from bites. the last time Fancy got beat up, within an hour or so of it happening, his temp had gone up to 105. norm is about 100. So he had a mega shot and liquid meds for a week.  I started feeding this mean male and one day I got him in a carrier by putting food in it. He took the bait and I caught him and then had to call the city, and they came and picked him up. I felt horrible, but he wasn't a nice kitty. To be honest, even I was kinda afraid of him. he just had this weird energy about him. Never felt that from a animal before. perhaps he found a good home? I hope so. I get so mad at people who dumb cats. Where we lived for 5 years, in that time, we tamed over 70 adult cats and kittens and found them homes.! We lived by a seed store/feed store and so people would dump them out, I guess figuring the owner could use all of them to fight the mice and rat population.. but it got nuts. I guess it had always been overrun with cats. We tried to rescue as many as we could. The females, when they were ready to give birth, I brought them in the garage and well, that became our nursery. Much easier to tame and handle kittens and teach them manners then trying to deal with them in an external setting.!!!  really feel that is why we moved there..like fate. to take care of the kitties. Well, the seed store burnt down and we moved and now, no kitties. Well actually for several months, he would take food in there morning and night for the 3 cats left behind. They had not come to us soon enough for us to work with them before we moved and were kind of skidish. Then suddenly they disappeared. Kinda know why? they were probbably trapped, so try to not think on that. don't even like saying it, but oh well. This spring has been the first spring in 7 years that we havent had a kitty nursery..and sure missed it, but so much responsiblity and since I have such limitations now. well, I don't think I would be able to do it..
